Cutes : collected queer & trans comics
Versailles, Lyon 2ᵉ, Lyon 6ᵉ...
Ce que dit l'éditeurWhen I think about comfort and language, I think about the way me use language in a family. Every Family makes up words, words that are only used in the family context and no one else would understand. Family vocabulary and how they say certain things is cute. This reminds me of how we found a title for this project in a larger sense. The queer community, as an extended family, has a specific language, codes, and jokes. We were thinking about how much one would want to give away of that, of all these little currents running amongst us. A lot of commonalities that can also be a way of protecting ourselves. |
©Electre 2024 |
